Vol.72 Tokoname ware, new shaps @note

A new teapot was born in collaboration with Jinmizu, a pottery manufacturer with a history of nearly 100 years in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.

Usually, teapots are round and plump, but this one has a vertical shape with a Western feel.

For Rokusan, whose motto is to harmonize new ideas with classics, this item is sure to become a new standard.

It's not just the look that makes it stand out, it's also functional.

The interior is wide, so the tea leaves jump around well, bringing out the tea's natural aroma and flavor.

Also, a metal tea strainer is not included, and instead a "ceramesh filter" with many fine holes is used.

Unlike metal tea strainers, there is no metallic smell or unpleasant taste, so you can enjoy the natural flavor of the tea.

You can use it as a teapot for your daily tea or to brew black tea as well.
